At Imatech, we believe that sustainability is built on many small, practical choices. In 2025, one of those choices made a measurable difference.
Throughout the year, Imatech purchased a total of 1,112 used pallets instead of opting for new ones. By reusing pallets, we reduced our CO₂ footprint by 19.8 tonnes of CO₂ compared to the use of new pallets.
To put that into perspective: this reduction is equivalent to the CO₂ emissions of 26,117 kilometers driven by a freight truck.
Using reused pallets is a simple but effective way to lower environmental impact. Modern used pallets are qualitatively equal to new pallets in terms of strength, safety, and reliability—while significantly reducing emissions and saving raw materials.
All small steps count. Whether it’s optimizing logistics, reducing waste, or choosing reused materials, every decision contributes to a more sustainable supply chain. At Imatech, we remain committed to making responsible choices wherever possible—because real impact starts with practical action.
